Kids Summer Camps at the Carbondale Clay Center!

All abilities welcome at our hand-building and wheel throwing kids summer camps! Classes will run from June 11 - August 17, Monday - Friday from 9:30AM - 12:00PM and 1:00PM - 3:30PM. 5 - 8 YEAR OLD CLASSES The Mountains are Calling June 11-15th, 9:30-Noon. Let's take an artistic hike up Sopris and gather all our clay gear while we create a brand new mountainous world. $125 Instructor: Savanna LaBauve. Loco for Coco June 18-22nd, 1-3:30pm Get lost in the Land of the Living and the Dead as we explore the musical world of Coco through functional and sculptural creations! $125 Instructor: Stephanie Seguin. The Art of Wayfinding June 25-29th, 9:30-Noon Join Moana and Maui on a quest across the Pacific. Make your raft, craft your sailor and discover unknown tropical places. $125 Instructor: Savanna LaBauve. Adventure Time July 9-13th, 1-3:30pm The Clay Center is heading to the Land Of Ooo! Join us for a week of adventure making fun things from Adventure Time. $125 Instructor: Jennifer Arnold. Caribbean Clay July 16-20th, 9:30-Noon Join the Carbondale Clay Center and splash into summer, exploring coral reefs, tropical fish, and exotic birds in this fun-in-the-sun class. $125 Instructor: Stephanie Seguin. DINOSAURS!!! July 23-27th, 1-3:30pm We are going back in time 65 million years ago when dinosaurs ruled the world. Come to class prepared to make you favorite prehistoric creature! $125. I Like to Move It! July 30th- August 1st, 9:30-Noon Let's head on down to Madagascar with all our fun movie friends and dance our way through a variety of animal clay projects. $75 Instructor: Savanna LaBauve. Arcade Games July 30th- August 1st, 1-3:30pm Ever played Minecraft? Super Mario Bros? Pac-man? Here's a class where we can create our favorite arcade game characters! $75 Instructor: Jennifer Arnold. To Infinity and Beyond! August 6-10th, 9:30-Noon Take a trip with Buzz Lightyear on a clay rocket ship out into space and make a whole universe out of clay. $125 Instructor: Savanna LaBauve. Spongebob Claypants August 13-17th, 1-3:30pm Who lives in a pineapple at the Clay Center! Join us for a fun, Spongebob-inspired class. Lets make all things Spongebob! $125 Instructor: Jennifer Arnold. 9 AND OVER CLASSES Wheel Throwing Boot Camp Learn to use the potter's wheel. It's harder than it looks, but even more fun! Come ready to get DIRTY!
