Mountain Valley Developmental Services
Our Mission is to encourage and support individuals with developmental disabilities, enhance their ability to live, learn, and work in an independent and inclusive manner, and to educate the community about their contributions and capabilities.
The purpose of Mountain Valley Developmental Services (MVDS) is to provide persons served and their families with supports that will promote skill acquisition, independence and inclusion within the community. To fulfill this purpose, the organization is entrusted with the administration of public funds that are intended specifically to assist persons with developmental disabilities and their families.
Our Children?s Programs provide assistance to families with children who are demonstrating a developmental delay or who have developmental disabilities. Through case management, an individualized plan is created to identify family priorities, coordinate resources, and ensure entitlements while promoting the development of every child.
We serve as the Fiscal Agent for the Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Council, which promotes and supports a system of qualified, accessible, and affordable early childhood services for families in the rural resort region.
MVDS provides adults (18+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities with the supports necessary to lead full and enriched lives. We can arrange for support to be provided in a variety of settings including the family home, an apartment, a host home or a group home.
