DESCRIPTION:Join the Carbondale Chamber for the 2022 Carbondale Business Confluence\, themed "Future Forecast" on Wednesday\, September 21st. The Confluence will take place at the Third Street Center from 8 a.m.   11 a.m. and will include breakfast provided by Bonfire Coffee. Then from 4   6 p.m. there will be an evening of networking\, information\, small bites and more hosted at COVENTURE.\n\n \n\nThe Future Forecast themed conference will kick off with updates on the Carbondale Comprehensive Plan\, presented by Mayor Ben Bohmfalk and Town Manager Lauren Gister. Key Comp Plan highlights will include:\n\n\n	Downtown Character focusing on zoning & land use\, public art and spaces\n	Opportunity Area (formerly Downtown North) on land use and mixed-use development\n	Climate Action Plan on water\, natural resources and stewardship\n	Aging in the community on housing for seniors and mobility for all ages\n	Bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure and connectivity\n	Residential character on housing\, style and scale\n\n\nThere will also be information on a new vision for destination stewardship of Carbondale's tourism\, Healthcare & Wellness and Education with a focus on Upward Mobility.  In addition\, there will be updates from Garfield County and the State of Colorado on rural impacts.\n\n\n\nTickets includes the confluence\, breakfast and evening networking:\n\n\n	$40 Early bird special for members: $10 off through August 31st\n	$50 for non-members and after August 31st\n\n\nThe Confluence is made possible through support of our Carbondale Chamber members\, especially those at the Avalanche Creek\, Crystal River and Mount Sopris tiers.  All net proceeds from the Carbondale Business Confluence benefit the Chamber's continued service to the community and its 400+ member businesses.
