DESCRIPTION:The 30th annual Ride for the Pass celebrates the work of the Independence Pass Foundation. This is a chance to ride the iconic Independence Pass Road before it is open to cars for the season. The ride stars at the winter gate and has two finishes: 2 miles up at Weller for recreational riders and families\, and 10 miles up the road to the ghost town for competitive riders. The ride is followed by a BBQ and a fantastic raffle with prizes donated by Roaring Fork Valley businesses.
