Carbondale Clay National XIV is a national exhibition of ceramic art held annually. This year, Clay National XIV Nature Reconsidered: Reimagining the World through Ceramics will be on display at the Carbondale Clay Center Gallery from August 2nd through 30th. “This exhibition aims to explore the everchanging relationship between humans and nature. Since time immemorial, artists have documented, questioned, celebrated and reimagined our relationship with the natural world. With our rapidly changing environment this exploration is as relevant as ever. Nature Reconsidered seeks to draw out the diverse ways that nature is represented in contemporary ceramics. We welcome any work that references, investigates, challenges, and/or celebrates our relationship with the natural world.” -guest juror Trey Hill The Carbondale Clay Center is located at 135 Main Street, Carbondale, CO 81623. Gallery Hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM & Saturday 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
