Tai Chi is an internal martial art and ancient Chinese health care system that is composed of slow, deliberate movements emphasizing softness, relaxation, mind body integration, meditation & Chi (breath-energy) development. This workshop will focus on the internal principles of Tai Chi, helping improve health, longevity, balance, flexibility and strength. You will learn Tai Chi basic movements and postures and get hands on personal instruction so you can experience the complete mind-body connection of Tai Chi. Be prepared to leave feeling energized, refreshed and relaxed! Open to all levels, no previous experience is necessary. Time: 10:30am - 3:00pm includes a 45 minute lunch break Bio: Martin Finkelstein has been practicing Tai Chi for over 30 years and has been teaching for more than 15. Always fascinated with Chinese culture, Martin searched for a way to improve health, defend himself and grow spiritually; it was then that he discovered Tai Chi. Martin has spent time in China learning under some of the greatest masters, this practice has become his life's work.
