Ron Houston is a singer/songwriter based in the Roaring Fork Valley. Born in West Monroe, Louisiana and raised in Bakersfield, California, Ron has the authentic storytelling vocals about real life, hard-working people and some of our favorite honky-tonk heroes. Ron has opened for David Allen Coe, The Marshall Tucker Band, Black Oak Arkansas, Bango Tango, The Meat Puppets, Cased Out, Whisky Myers and many more. Ron has recorded two solo albums. A Long Road Home and Streets of West Monroe, and as his third album, titled R.O.A.M., is set to release in early 2024.
