Calling all designers, developers, marketers, content curators, event managers, tech enthusiasts, and community members: It's time to build something! Over the last couple years lot's of people have brought up the need to find events among the noise that is our modern digital world. With Facebook, Meetup, Email, and more it's still shockingly difficult to know about events in our own towns that we might be interested in. We want to tackle this problem head on as a community of technologists by building some tech to help aggregate events into a single place. What would this look like? How would we build it? What would we call it? Why would we even do this? Those are all questions we can work through together to make this community project successful. This first meetup will be a planning session where we work through the high level questions about what we want to build. By the end of the night we want to have an idea for what this might look like so we can start to consider the next steps. THIS WILL TAKE A VILLAGE. You do NOT need to be a developer. We want you to come even if all you want to do is watch. However, I'm guessing you'll have some ideas that will contribute to the effort. Why do you want to come? * To help build tools for your local community. * To work on a fun project with friends. * To dabble in new skills. * To share your existing knowledge. See you there!
