LUNAFEST 2023 - Glenwood Springs

 
LUNAFEST®, the fundraising film festival dedicated to championing women filmmakers and bringing people together in their communities, will be hosted by Advocate Safehouse Project with two locations and dates this year. 

LUNAFEST 2023 – Glenwood Springs is at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs on March 11^th with two screenings, 4 pm and 7 pm with the Glenwood Springs Art Council hosting a “Strength” 10 x 10 Art Show & Sale.  Come and enjoy our local artists’ magic! 

LUNAFEST features a program of short films that empower and inspire. This year’s stories are told from a variety of perspectives that champion women and gender nonconforming individuals, highlighting their aspirations, accomplishments, resilience, strength, and connection.  LUNAFEST is united by a common thread of exceptional storytelling -- by, for and about women. All proceeds from LUNAFEST will benefit Advocate Safehouse Project.  Advocate Safehouse Project is the only community-based nonprofit program providing free, confidential and comprehensive services to domestic and/or sexual violence survivors in Garfield County.  It works to promote healthy relationships free from violence as it strives to overcome imbalances through advocacy, collaboration, education and shelter.
