Meet the Author: Pat and Ralph Wanner

At age 50, Ralph Wanner had a choice; buy an RV for a traditional retirement or chase a decades-long dream. He chose the dream and convinced his wife, Pat, to leave their Colorado home and join him on a 2-year self-supported bicycle journey from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to the southern tip of South America. Neither could have imagined what lay ahead. Join Pat and Ralph as they discuss their adventure in their recently released book, “To the End of the Earth,” at the Carbondale Branch Library at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
